I am a teacher, director, dramaturg, actor, practitioner of theatre for social change, and theatre scholar. I am an ABD doctoral student in Theatre at BGSU. I am currently teaching Intro to Performance and Speech at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am also working on my dissertation, "Imagining 'America': The Federal Theatre Project and American National Identity," which analyzes the performances of race, ethnicity, gender, and class in the FTP's Living Newspapers.
