Panel will feature papers exploring the lives Alice Dunbar-Nelson, Edythe Scott Bagley and Bayard Rustin. Together, the lives of these seemingly "average" Black Americans offer glimpses into the daily heroism of what it meant to Black before, during and after the Civil Rights movement.
