Mike Cesarano

A member of the CUNY (City University of NY) Theatre faculty for almost two decades, Mike Cesarano has been teaching at Queensborough Community College since 2000, teaching various courses in Performance and Media. Mike is an experienced theatre practitioner, having been an actor, director, stage manager and sound designer. He studied acting with F. Murray Abraham while earning his MFA from Brooklyn College. Mike is a member of the Gilbert and Sullivan Yiddish Light Opera Company, serving on its Board of Directors and as a member of the company's performing ensemble.
Additionally, Mike remains active in various forms of media, serving as a contributor and occasional co-host of the show Baseball Digest Live
discussing matters of baseball, media and uniform history, of which he has done extensive research and is a recognized authority.
Mike belongs to several arts and research institutions, including the Society for American Baseball Research, the Queens Historical Society and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame's Educational Advisory Board.
