Rich Brown teaches physical acting at Western Washington U where he directs and devises. He studied at U of Oregon, NYU, SITI Company & Dell’Arte. In recent summers he led Viewpoint and Suzuki intensives for Teatrul Fara Frontiere at the National Theatre of Romania in Bucharest, devised and co-directed The American Family at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival along with Andy Paris of Tectonic Theatre Project, and performed in Pillowman, Poison the Well, Circle Mirror Transformation, Art, and Into the Woods. He is currently working on two devised works with Bill Bowers (NYC) and Hand2Mouth (PDX).
